Mitch Trubisky signs with Buffalo Bills

Former Chicago Bears quarterback and the second overall pick of the 2017 NFL draft, Mitch Trubisky, has a new home.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Trubisky has signed with the Buffalo Bills.

With one of the NFL’s premier starters — Josh Allen — already on the roster, Trubisky will likely man the No. 2 job as he tries to get his NFL career on track.

Trubisky was a massive bust for the Bears, if not the biggest draft bust in team history. GM Ryan Pace made the infamous and ill-fated decision to trade up from the No. 3 overall pick to No. 2 overall in 2017 to select Trubisky over the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson.

Needless to say, that didn’t work out.

Trubisky’s career in Chicago ended with 29-21 record as a starter while throwing for 10,609 yards, 64 touchdowns and 37 interceptions. His passing yards and touchdown totals each rank fifth all-time on the Bears’ passing leaders list.
