This comes via Bleacher Report, who says that Trubisky is the most-bet player at Caesars Palace to win the MVP, topping Browns QB Baker Mayfield, Giants RB Saquon Barkley, Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott and Raiders QB Derek Carr.
It’s easy to see why Trubisky is a popular bet, as the MVP is almost always a quarterback on a great team. If the Bears can improve off their impressive 12-4 season — and if Trubisky takes that significant leap in Year 3 — then Trubisky would definitely have a chance.
Trubisky isn’t a favorite to win MVP, but the odds have been too good to pass up, including 75-1 at Caesars Palace, where he has been the most-bet player to win it.
At one point, Trubisky’s odds to win MVP were 200-1 at Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas. But within two days, enough bets had been made that his MVP odds moved to 50-1.
