NBA free agency is set to take off in the coming days as the offseason as the chaos around the league is brewing.
For the Charlotte Hornets, their offseason will stem around their ability, and willingness, to bring back forward Miles Bridges.
On Tuesday during head coach Steve Clifford’s introductory press conference, VP of Basketball operations Mitch Kupchak spoke on Bridges’ pending free agency.
“We love Miles. We’re going to bring him back,” Kupchak said.
Rumors have been swirling that the Hornets aren’t planning to offer a max contract to Bridges, who had a career-year for Charlotte this past season.
