Mississippi tornado: Monster storm kills five with towns left 'looking like warzone'

Five people are feared dead after a monster tornado struck Mississippi leaving the area looking 'like a warzone'.

Two of those killed are aged just three and eight. They died when a tree toppled onto the back of their family’s car in Lufkin, Angelina County.

Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said there are reports of trees down in the south part of the county.

Power lines are also down and more people are missing with fears the death toll could rise.

WCBI meteorologist Jacob Dickey said: "These are the worst nights as a meteorologist. I have seen things I would hope to never see again. Pray for Monroe County."
