Missing Wythenshawe dementia sufferer last seen riding his gold mountain bike - police are appealing for help

Police are appealing for the public's help to find a missing demntia sufferer last seen riding his gold mountain bike.

William Kendal, 79, is missing from the Brooklands area of Wythenshawe.

The 79-year-old suffers from Alzheimer's disease and police say he may appear 'dazed and confused'.

He was last spoken to at 3pm today (Thursday).

His family are said to be 'very concerened' as Mr Kendal doesn't tend to leave the house for long periods of time.

In a post of Facebook GMP Wythenshaw said: "William is out on his gold hybrid mountain bike which has no gears.

"We're unsure of what William is wearing but when out on his bike he tucks his pants into his socks."
