A Glasgow woman has disappeared from the city centre while out shopping.

Emma Farrell vanished on Wednesday leaving her partner 'worried out of his head'.

Harry McIsaac issued a heartbreaking appeal for answers.

Taking to social media, he said: "I'm worried out of my head, my partner Emma Farrell has been missing for 27hrs now, she didn't come home, she was in Glasgow, shopping.

"Popping into a shop then heading home but two days on, still no heard from her.

"Does anyone know where she could be?

"I need people to help and share, this will be her second night away.

"She said she was going to a shop then home but never phoned or arrived home again."

The post has been shared more than 1,500 times.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed they had received a missing person report for Emma.
