Missing woman sparks huge police search in the Highlands

A missing woman has sparked a massive police search in the Highlands.

Emma Greer was reported missing from her home in Nairn.

The 42-year-old was last seen on Saturday afternoon.

It's believed she was out driving her silver Renault Kadjar car, with the registration number AL05 EMA.

Emma is described as five foot, six inches tall.

She has short, dark blond hair and is of a medium build.

Anyone who has information on Emma's whereabouts is being urged to contact police as soon as possible.

A spokesperson from Highlands and Islands Police Division said: "Officers in Nairn are appealing for information to help trace missing person Emma Greer, 42, who has been reported missing from her home in the town. 

"Emma was last seen during the late afternoon today and is believed to be using her silver Renault Kadjar car registration number AL05 EMA. 

"Anyone with information in relation to Emma's whereabouts is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 2520 of January 2."
