Missing woman's boyfriend 'filmed rapping I killed my b****' on night she vanished

A man suspected of kidnapping his girlfriend allegedly launched a bizarre rap about killing and burying a woman on the night she vanished.

Robert Anthony Camou, 27, is claimed to have been filmed freestyling during an open mic night in Los Angeles on the same day Amanda Custer disappeared.

In the video, a man dressed in a dark shirt, grabs a microphone and performed an impromptu gig as he rapped: "I cut the f***ing EMP off my leg and then I'm out.

"You don't even know the news. I killed my b**** and then buried that b**** in the f***ing dirt."

As he walks off the stage, performers standing at the back exchange concerned looks.

Camou was arrested on a warrant early Tuesday after a five-hour standoff in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Times .

It's said he has not been charged with kidnapping.

Officials said they had trying to find him since a witness reported seeing Camou put the limp body of 31-year-old Amanda in the back of a Prius at his home on Monday.

In a statement, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said they were aware of 'a video being circulated that depicts suspect Camou rapping' but have not been able to secure the original file.

They said: "We want to make sure it's unedited. If it's edited, then in court people can poke holes in it.

Michael R Moore, who filmed the footage, said he wasn't aware who he had filmed and told KTLA-TV 5: "What he said, he said it with such force that people just stopped.

"They were shocked. There was a lot of hate in his expression."

Sheriff's Lt Scott Hoglund said court and police records show that Camou and Amanda had a relationship full of violence allegations.

Amanda was said to have sought a restraining order against Camou in February.

But Camou became the police's prime suspect after officers found blood at his home in Monrovia while responding to a domestic violence call.

No remains of the missing woman have been found and it's not sure if she had been injured.

Camou is currently being held in jail without bail and is due in court Thursday.
