Missing woman from Scottish Borders 'may be looking for BnB to stay in'

A Scottish woman missing from the Borders "may be looking for a bed and breakfast or hotel" to stay in, according to Police Scotland.

Amanda Stewart, also known as Millie, has been reported missing from Newtown St Boswells in Roxburghshire.

The 51-year-old was last seen around Melrose around 5pm on Sunday April 24.

Amanda is described as being white, 5ft1, and of stocky build with grey/white hair.

It is believed that Amanda does not have a mobility scooter with her.

She may be seeking accommodation at a bed and breakfast or hotel within the Scottish Borders or possibly near the area.

Police are urging anyone with information to get in touch.

Anyone who may known of Amanda’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 2610 of 24th April 2022.
