Fears are growing mum who mysteriously vanished after going to her son's football game after her dog appeared on the 28th floor of a building 12 miles from where she was last seen.
Heidi Planck, 39, disappeared after leaving her 10-year-old son's football game "looking a little bit antsy" on October 17.
Detectives have released home security footage of Heidi leaving her home on that day with her dog Seven, in the Reynier Village district of Los Angeles.
She met up with her ex-husband, Jim Wayne at the match before saying she had to go and leaving the match early.
Her dog was found by a couple on the 28th floor of a building 12 miles away. They looked after him for a week, but could not get in touch with Ms Planck with the information which was on his microchip.
Her friends and family say she has no connection with the building.
Mr Wayne told ABC7 that she had not seemed her normal self on the day she was last seen and left the game early.
“She may have been a little bit edgy. I don’t know. I just know that was the last time we spoke to her."
He added: “She’s a good mom. She’s really a good mom. She wouldn’t let a day go by without talking to her son, there’s no way."
Mr Wayne was due to have their son for the following few days, and the alarm was raised about her disappearance on October 20 when she failed to pick him up from school.
Their son is due to turn 11 this week, and Mr Wayne said he doesn't want to celebrate without his mum.
Mr Wayne said: "He was doing OK until he saw a photo of them the other day - and then he just broke down.
"He told me that he just wanted one more time to talk to her. That hurt. That was really painful."
"We're just hoping for a miracle and that she comes home."
Detectives are looking into if her vanishing could be linked to her job, as her employer is under a federal securities investigation for possible fraud charges.
According to DailyMail.com, Heidi works as a controller at Camden Capital, an investment advisory firm which handles finances for the rich.
She is described as having blonde hair and blue eyes, standing five feet, three inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds.
When she was last seen, she was wearing jeans and a grey sweater and was driving a grey 2017 Range Rover with California license plate U840X0.
