Missing woman, 21, who hasn't been seen for two days sparks police search

A young woman has gone missing as police appeal for information to help trace her.

Amber Brunton, 21, was last seen in the East Lothian area around 9.30pm on Tuesday August 31.

She has not been seen or heard from since then and may have potentially gone to the Aberdeen area.

The 21-year-old has been described as 5ft 6ins in height with long dark hair, according to Police Scotland.

The specific street and part of East Lothian and what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance currently remains unknown.

Police officers are now appealing for anyone with information which may be helpful in tracing Amber to get in touch with them.

They can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting incident number 2381 of Wednesday September 1.

It comes after 46-year-old Gary Mungall was found safe and well today after going missing from West Lothian on Sunday August 29.
