Missing Uddingston woman found safe and well

A woman missing from the Uddingston area has been found safe and well.

Lauren Paterson, 26, had not been seen since leaving her parents' house at 10am on Easter Monday (March 13).

Her car, a white Mercedes, was discovered near to the Scotmid and Castle Rooms venue on Old Mill Road, Uddingston, sparking concern.

Her father, Gary Paterson, took to social media on Tuesday to appeal for any information of her whereabouts.

Close friends and other family members also made appeals.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said on Wednesday: “Lauren Paterson has been traced safe and well.”
