Missing toddler, 2, who disappeared a year ago found in Germany

A two-year-old boy who went missing with his mother a year ago has been found, a judge has said.

Last month, Mr Justice Peel made an urgent appeal for help finding Emmanuel Biendarra.

The toddler was thought to have been taken abroad by his mother Kristina Nobis after he went to stay with her for a weekend.

His parents are separated and he was living with his father in Kent when he disappeared late last year.

The judge, who is based in the Family Division of the High Court in London, is overseeing private hearings centred on Emmanuel.

He said, at a hearing on Thursday, that Emmanuel had been found in Germany and was back in Britain.

Speaking at the time, Emmanuel's dad said: "I am devastated by Emmanuel’s sudden disappearance.

"I am so worried about his safety and urge anyone who knows anything to come forward and assist.”
