Missing teenager sparks urgent police search in the Highlands

A missing teenager has sparked an urgent police search in the Highlands.

Olti Gega was last seen in the Camagael area of Fort William at around 12am on Saturday.

The 17-year-old, who is Albanian, is described as five foot, six inches tall and of slim build with black hair, cut short at the back and longer at the front.

The teen also has a mole on his right cheek.

Olti was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black jeans, black trainers and a black watch.

Officers probing the disappearance say they are 'concerned for his welfare' and are appealing for information.
Sergeant Michael Bell said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Olti’s welfare and I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen him or who has any information at all to come forward as soon as possible.

"Anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting incident 1823 of August 1."
