Missing teenager sparks urgent police appeal

Police have issued an appeal for help to find a teenager missing from Manchester city centre.

Officers say they are 'increasingly concerned' about the wellbeing of Jade, 18, who was last seen just after 8am on Saturday (April 15) on Portland Street, in the city centre.

She is described as an 18-year-old white female, around 5ft 10, medium build, with long brown hair. She also often wears fake eyelashes.

Greater Manchester Police are urging members of the public with any information on Jade's whereabouts to come forwards.

In a tweet they said: "Can you help police find a missing woman from Manchester City Centre? Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Jade and want to make sure she is safe and well. Anyone with information about Jade's whereabouts should contact police on 0161 856 5850 or 101."
