UPDATE (Monday, November 1): Cheshire Police said: "Ellis Clegg has now been located and is safe and well."
A CCTV image showing a missing teenager boarding a bus last Saturday has been released amid rising concerns for his welfare.
Ellis Clegg, 15, was reported missing over two weeks ago on Wednesday, October 13, prompting an initial appeal for information over his whereabouts.
Cheshire Police has now said Ellis was seen boarding a bus at Castlefields in Runcorn and travelled to Warrington bus station at around 1.50pm last Saturday, October 23.

A CCTV still of the teenager on-board the vehicle has been released in the hope of helping to trace him.
Ellis, who has links to the Liverpool and Manchester areas, is described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, slim, and with brown curly hair.

Chief Inspector Leeroy Moss, of Runcorn Local Policing Unit, said: “Officers have been doing all they can to find Ellis since he was reported as missing.
“It has now been 16 days and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We know from the CCTV image that he got on a bus in Runcorn that took him to Warrington.
“I would urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen him on the bus or since Friday, October 22, to please come forward.
“I also want to encourage residents to keep checking their CCTV or dashcam footage which might show Ellis and to contact officers.

“Ellis is from Runcorn and at the moment we believe he is likely to still be in the town though he does have links to the Liverpool and Manchester areas.
“If you or anyone you know has any information or footage that may help us find Ellis, please do get in touch. We are very worried about him.
“I would also like to appeal directly to Ellis to get in touch and let us know that you are safe and well.”
Anyone with information or footage that may assist in the ongoing search for Ellis is should call Cheshire Constabulary on 101 quoting IML 1108035.
