A missing teenager could have travelled to Newcastle from Cumbria after she disappeared.
Cumbria Police officers say they have concerns for the welfare of Mia Burrows and have asked the public to look out for her.
The 16-year-old was last seen in Carlisle on Thursday morning at around 10.30am.
Mia is described as 5ft 4ins, of slim build with shoulder length hair.
She was last seen wearing black leggings and a black leather jacket.
It is thought Mia could be in the Newcastle area.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
Officers would also like to urge Mia to contact them.
