Missing teenage girl from Paisley sparks police appeal

A teenage girl from Paisley has gone missing which has sparked an appeal from police.

Renfrewshire police are asking the public for their help in locating missing 16-year-old Una Zange who was last seen around 10.30am on Wednesday morning.

The last sighting of Una was in the Love Street area of the town.

Police are working under the assumption that she may have travelled to either the Edinburgh area or Galashiels in the Scottish Borders.

The teen is described as being 5ft 4in with long blonde hair. When last seen, she was wearing a crop top and combat trousers.

Sergeant Brian Nisbett, from Paisley police station, said: “We’re asking for anyone who believes they have seen Una to please come forward, or for her to get in touch if she sees this appeal.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 0162 of March 2.
