Missing teen Molly O'Neill sparks PSNI appeal

The family of a missing teenager are concerned for her welfare.

Molly O'Neill was last seen on the morning of Thursday July 29 in the Glenavy area and despite brief contact with family last night, she has not returned home.

Alliance Party councillor Sian Mulholland said her niece, 17, is originally from Tralee, Co Kerry and has a distinctive accent.

A PSNI appeal reads: "Police in the Lisburn area are concerned for the whereabouts of Molly O'Neill. Molly is 17-years-old and was last seen on Thursday 29th July at around 11:30am in the Glenavy area.

"It's believed she may be wearing a bright red Canada Goose padded gilet, white cardigan crop top, light blue ripped jeans and white flowery high top trainers.

"If you know of the whereabouts or have information to assist police in finding Molly please contact us on 101 and quote serial number 1948 29/07/21."

Councillor Sian Mulholland added: "My niece still hasn’t returned home and we just need to know that she’s safe and well. We were able to make brief contact with her last night after we initially posted about it but she is still not home today. She is originally from Tralee, Co.Kerry and has a distinctive accent."
