Missing Scots rapist Ross Wright found after police hunt

A missing Scots rapist has been found after police hunt was launched.

Ross Wight has now been found 'safe' by cops after vanishing from Dumbarton on October 13.

The public were warned not to approach the 26-year-old who was found guilty of putting a young mum through a sickening ordeal in 2014.

Creepy Wright had forced himself on the victim at a party after being let out of jail early.

The depraved rapist had been given a 16-month detention term in March 2013 for attacking a disabled man with a bottle in a kebab shop.

He was freed in November after serving only half his sentence and raped the mum in May 2014.

Now he sparked a fresh police probe after disappearing before being found tonight.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Ross Wright, 26, from Dumbarton who had been reported missing has been traced safely.

"Thank you to everyone who help with previous appeals for information."
