Police searching for a man missing from Annan have released details of a car he may be driving.
James Turner, 45, was last seen at around 3pm on Tuesday, December 28 in Glynt Wynd, Annan.
Officers believe he left the property in a blue Skoda Octavia car, which had the registration plate SV12WCR.
James, whose family are becoming increasingly concerned for him, has been known to walk, fish and camp in local areas.
Police Scotland are now asking the public to keep an eye out for his car at car parks by rivers, beaches, forests and local beauty spots.
The 45-year-old has been described as being 5ft 10ins in height, of a medium build, with dark, greying hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark safari-type jacket, long sleeve white T-shirt, black jogging bottoms and trainers.
Inspector Nicolson from Annan Police station said: "James has been missing for a number of hours now, this is completely out of character for him and his family are understandably worried about him.
"We have a number of police resources out looking for James and I am now looking for the assistance from the public."
Anyone who may have seen James or has any information should contact 101, quoting incident no. 2724 of December 28, 2021.
