Missing Saffron Anderson: Growing concern for Edinburgh teenager last seen on Thursday in Leith

Police have launched an urgent appeal for the public's in finding an Edinburgh teenager who has been missing for over three days.

Saffron Anderson was last seen leaving an address on Portland Street, in the Leith area, at around 2:30am on Thursday (7 November).

The 17 year-old, who lives in Leith, has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for her welfare.

Saffron is described as a white female, with a slim build and is around 5’6 in height, with auburn hair - which has possibly been dyed black.

The teenager was last seen she was wearing a black jacket.

Officers say that Saffron also has links to the city centre, Niddrie and Wester Hailes area, where she may have travelled to by bus.

Anyone who may have seen Saffron since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0314 of 7th November 2019.
