A man reported missing from the Lochend area is a member of an Edinburgh paedophile hunters group.
Robert Scoular (34), who runs Edinburgh Exposure, left his home at around 10pm on Wednesday evening and said he was going to a local shop, but hasn't returned since.
Police say that he's not been in touch with any family members and concern is growing for his welfare.
He is understood to have links to Meadowbank and the city centre, and officers want to public's help in a bid to find him
He is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall, of very slim build, with dark hair, stubble and patchy eyebrows.
Police say that he was last seen wearing a green/khaki waterproof Adidas hoodie, grey jogging bottoms with a khaki stripe and black trainers also with a khaki stripe. He may be wearing a black beanie hat.

Inspector Grant Mcculloch of Craigmillar Police Station said: “Robert is known to frequent the city centre and Meadowbank areas and we’re asking for the public’s help as we work to trace him.
“If Robert sees this appeal, I’d urge him to get in touch with either his family or police as soon as possible and let us know if he is alright.”
The Edinburgh Exposure vigilante Facebook group, of which he is a member, has almost 18,000 likes on Facebook.
Anyone with information on Robert's whereabouts should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0561 of 4 April.
