Missing Renfrewshire man sparks police appeal to public for help in tracing him

Police are appealing for help to trace a man who is missing from the Bridge of Weir area.

William Cruikshanks, 46, was last seen in the area of Mill of Gryffe, Bridge of Weir, at 9:30am on Friday.

William is described as 6ft tall with balding light brown hair, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black combat style trousers and white trainers.

Anyone with information which could assist police in tracing William is requested to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2188.

The appeal comes after Greater Glasgow Police Division confirmed this morning that a man reported missing from the city centre and last seen at Glasgow Royal Infirmary has been traced safe and well.
