Gardai have issued an urgent appeal to the public to help trace a missing Meath boy who is believed to be in Dublin.

16-year-old Ronan Quinn has been missing since Friday evening at 5:45pm.

The Navan native was last seen at Mountjoy Square in Dublin 1, and Gardai believe that Ronan is still in the capital.

Ronan is described as being 5’ 7” in height, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

When he was last seen, Ronan was wearing a black jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, and black Nike runners.

Gardai added: "Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Gardaí at Mountjoy Garda Station on 01.666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station."
