Missing person search stood down after body found in Dublin

The search for a missing Dublin man was stood down after a body was found.

The discovery was made today during the search for Jonathan Boyle. The 44-year-old from Carrickmines has been missing since November 18, 2022.

Both gardai and his family had been concerned for his welfare, a previous appeal stated. A renewed appeal was issued by gardai in Dundrum yesterday.

A garda spokesman said today: "Following the discovery of a man's body earlier today, the missing person appeal in respect of 44-year-old Jonathan Boyle from Carrickmines in Dublin, has been stood down.

"We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter."
