Missing person James Higgins: PSNI 'concerned for welfare' of 85-year-old

Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a missing 85-year-old man from Co Antrim.

James (Jimmy) Higgins left his home at Main Street in Armoy at 1am this morning, Wednesday, December 22.

A PSNI statement added: "Jimmy is described as being 5’ 7” in height, with white/grey short hair. He is possibly wearing glasses, a pale green jumper and light brown or grey trousers.

"He has links to Rasharkin; and police are asking homeowners and farmers in both Armoy and Rasharkin to please check gardens, outbuildings and fields.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101, quoting reference 298 of 22/12/21."
