Glasgow City FC have received 'reassuring information' on Clare Shine's whereabouts after the club launched a missing person appeal.
The club this evening updated followers with news that Ireland star Clare had been located following their earlier appeal.
A statement read: "We have reassuring information about Clare's whereabouts and she has assistance.
"Thank you to everyone who helped. You made such a difference. We will say more when we can."
Police Scotland had confirmed they had received a missing person report and enquiries were ongoing to locate the person.
