Missing person appeal launched for Irish Times journalist Kate Holmquist

A missing person appeal has been launched for a journalist.

Gardai are looking for the public's help in tracing Kathryn (Kate) Holmquist.

The 62-year-old was last seen at her home at Lower Albert Road in Sandycove, south Dublin at 6pm on Saturday, August 3 2019.

Kate, a journalist with the Irish Times, is described as being 5' 6" with brown eyes.

It is not known what she was wearing when last seen.

Kathryn’s family and An Garda Siochana are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts are asked to contact gardai at Dun Laoghaire on 01 666 5000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
