Missing person appeal launched for 26-year-old James Taggart last seen 17 days ago

Police are appealing for help to trace a man who has been missing since January 22.

James Taggart, 26, was last seen 17 days ago on Jervis Street in Portadown.

PSNI Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon say they are "concerned for his welfare".

A post on their Facebook page reads: "This [is] James Taggart. He is 26 years old and was last seen at around 8pm on Friday 22nd January in the Jarvis Street area of Portadown.

"He was wearing a dark blue coat, dark jogging bottoms, white trainers and he was carrying a gold JD Sports bag.

"Police are concerned for his welfare and request if anyone has seen him to get in touch via 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

"If you are with him or in contact with him, please encourage him to make contact with Police."
