Missing person appeal for Belfast woman who left home on Monday

Police say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" about the whereabouts of a missing Belfast woman.

Sharon Maguire, 41, is reported to have left her home address in Glasvey Drive in the West of the city, on Monday August 17 at approximately 7.40pm.

She was last seen wearing a "black and white knitted cardigan, grey pyjama bottoms with Mickey Mouse on them, black trainers with a pink stripe and carrying a black and white handbag".

A PSNI spokesperson added: "Sharon is 41 years old, approximately 5ft 2" tall, slight build with dark brown hair tied in a ponytail and has several tattoos including a tattoo of a butterfly on her hand.

"If you believe that you may have seen Sharon or you know of her whereabouts, please contact Woodbourne Police as soon as possible by calling 101 and quote serial number 101 of 19/08/20. We would be grateful if this post could be shared so we can locate Sharon as soon as possible."
