Police hunt missing elderly man with tartan trolley and tattoos

Cops have launched a major search to find a pensioner who went missing from his home in Tayside.

Officers from Police Scotland are hunting for Christopher Russell who was last seen on High Street, Perth at about 9.30am on Tuesday, January 14.

The 80-year-old when he was last spotted was wearing a beige anorak or jacket over a red jumper and was using his dark tartan-coloured trolley and a walking stick to aid with his walking.

He is described as white with grey hair and a bushy white beard .

Christopher, who lives in Scone, speaks with an English accent, has tattoos on both hands, and he walks with a distinctive stoop.

He also uses a trolley to help with his mobility. He is known to travel , and he may have left Perth .

A Police Scotland statement read: "If you have any information that could help us find Mr Russell, please call 101 or speak to any police officer. Our reference is incident 2140 of 14th January."
