Missing Mary Newton: Desperate search for woman who disappeared without her phone, money or car

Police are searching for a woman who has disappeared without her phone and access to money or a car.

Mary Newton was last seen leaving the car park at University Hospital Wishaw, heading towards Glasgow Road, around 11.40am on Saturday, May 21.

The 49-year-old doesn't have her phone, bank cards or cash on her.

Mary lives in Lanarkshire but has connections to Glasgow.

Her family is becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

Mary is described as around 5ft 3ins in height, with shoulder-length greying blonde hair, blue eyes and is of slim build.

She was wearing black leggings, black top, a black jacket and black trainers.

Police Constable David Nicholl from Bellshill Police Office said: "We, along with Mary’s family, are concerned for her wellbeing and want to know she is OK.

“Mary doesn’t have her phone, bank cards or any cash on her and we don’t believe she has access to a vehicle.

“I’m asking anyone who thinks they may have seen Mary or for Mary herself, to contact us via 101 quoting reference number 1363 of 22 May 21."

UPDATE - Mary has been traced safe and well
