A man was last heard from via text message before going missing on Sunday afternoon.
Police are becoming increasingly concerned about Clifford Woodward who is missing from his home in West Derby .
The 61-year-old sent a text message at around 3pm on Sunday but has not been heard from since.
Officers are now appealing for the public's help in locating Clifford.
Mr Woodward is described as having two tattoos, one on his left arm and a dragon tattoo on his right arm.
He is white, 6ft tall, of medium build and balding.
He was last seen wearing blue jogging bottoms, a white vest and beige boots, according to Merseyside Police .
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of a 61-year-old man who is missing from home in West Derby.

"Clifford Woodward was last heard from at around 3pm on Sunday, 12 May, via text message.
"He is described as white, 6ft tall, of medium build, and balding. Clifford has a tattoo on his left arm and a dragon tattoo on his right arm.
"When last seen, he was wearing blue jogging bottoms, a white vest and beige boots.
"Clifford is known to frequent the local pubs in the West Derby and Croxteth area."
