A 43-year-old man who police appealed for information to help find has been traced and is safe and well say officers.
William Taylor, 43, known as Andy, was last seen on Monday around in the Crosshill Road area of Strathaven and last night police asked for help from the public saying they were becoming "increasingly concerned" about his welfare.
He was believed to be driving a white Ford Fiesta and has possible links to the Northumberland and Devon areas.
However, this morning police released a statement saying Andy had been "traced safe and well" and thanked the public for their assistance.
