Missing man last seen in Englewood

Cedric Bassbey | Chicago police

Police are seeking help locating a 68-year-old man who’s been missing for over a year from Chicago.

Cedric Bassbey was last seen Dec. 7, 2019, in the 7100 block of South Damen Avenue in Englewood, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

He’s known to visit near Wilson and Damen avenues in Ravenswood.

Bassbey is 6-foot-1 and about 165 pounds.

Police asked anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to call Area One detectives at 312-747-8380.
