Missing man last seen driving to Bronzeville optometry school

Police are looking for a man who has been missing since Sunday and was last seen heading to Bronzeville.

Thomas D. Matt, 28, was last seen leaving his home about 9 a.m. to go to the Illinois College of Optometry, 3241 S. Michigan Ave., according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Matt is described as a 5-foot-9, 150-pound man with hazel eyes, black hair and a light complexion, police said. He was driving a gray, four-door 2011 Hyundai with an Illinois license plate of AG52084 that expires in December 2020.

Police said he may be in the areas around the Illinois Institute of Technology or DePaul University.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Area South Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
