Missing Maleah Davis: Urgent search for girl, 5, 'kidnapped by three men'

Police in the US have issued an urgent Amber Alert for missing five-year-old girl Maleah Davis who was reportedly kidnapped by three men in Texas.

Houston Police are asking for the public's help to trace Maleah ,who they said was taken by three "unknown males" in north Houston, Texas on Friday and last seen yesterday at 9pm, local time.

Investigators say Maleah's stepdad told them he was abducted along with the little girl and his two-year-old son by the three men in a blue pick-up trick on Friday night.

He claimed he was assaulted, before he and his son were dropped off in Texas' Sugar Land area the following night.

The kidnappers kept Maleah with them and drove off, he told police.
