Missing Kilmarnock woman Emma Faulds has not been seen for three days

The frantic family of a missing woman who vanished three days go have issued an appeal beginning for information.

Emma Faulds was last seen in Kilmarnock .

Her family say her disappearance is extremely out of character and her phone has been switched off.

Her sister Miriam shared a post on Facebook pleading for information on Emma's whereabouts.

The post has now been shared over 5,2000 times.

She wrote: "Our sister Emma Faulds has been missing for a few days.

"Her phone is off and the last contact she had with her family or friends was on Sunday.

"This is extremely out of character.

"If anyone has seen or heard from her please contact myself, my family or the police.

"She was last seen in Kilmarnock and we have no reason to believe she’s not still in the area. 

"Please share this post in the hope it reaches someone who can give us any information."

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
