An appeal has been launched to trace a missing 16-year-old girl known to frequent East Kilbride, Hamilton and Glasgow city centre.
Jessica McMurray was last seen about 8.30pm on Thursday 16 September at Pollock Lane in East Kilbride.
She is described as a white female, 5'4", slim build, long brown hair and was last seen wearing a grey and white dressing gown, black and grey leggings and white Nike sliders, it is expected that the dressing gown may have been discarded.
Sergeant Gary Mackie, East Kilbride Police Station said: “Officers have been carrying out significant enquiries since Jessica was reported missing but so far Jessica has not been located and no one has confirmed any sightings of her since leaving home.
"We would like to appeal to anyone who may be able to provide any information regarding Jessica’s whereabouts or potential sightings that will assist us in tracing her.
"I would also ask Jessica herself to get in contact with friends, family, support services or Police” Police can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting incident number 1694 of 17 September 2021."
