Missing Jammu girl recovered from Himachal Pradesh: Reasi Police

JAMMU: A 22-year-old girl who had gone missing since September 25 from her home in village Jardi of Reasi district was found from Mandi district of Himachal Pardesh, police said on Tuesday.

Reasi Police said, "On September 25, one Kartar Chand, son of Sain Dass a resident of Jardi of tehsil Pouni in Reasi district reported at Police Station Pouni that his 22-year-old daughter is missing from home."

"On this missing report was registered at Police Station Pouni and search was launched," police said.

Police further said that enquiries from the family, relatives & friends gave sufficient clues of the missing girl & accordingly sources of police were activated.

"After meticulous track-following & consistent hectic efforts, team of Police Station Pouni zeroed upon the location of the girl in Himachal Pardesh."

Police said, "A police team headed by a sub-inspector was sent to Himachal Pradesh which recovered the missing girl from Mandi district."

"Further Enquiry into the matter is going on while the girl has been reunited with family, police added.
