Missing Hung Van Ho: CCTV released of 20-year-old taking bus to Kirkintilloch days after disappearance

Officers investigating a missing man from Glasgow have released a CCTV image of the last confirmed sighting of him.

Hung Van Ho was reported missing from the east end of Glasgow on Friday, April 23.

Enquiries have established that the 20-year-old was within Buchanan Bus Station at 4.55pm on Sunday, April 25 and boarded an X85 bus. He got off this bus at the stop on Cowgate, Kirkintilloch, which is outside of the Royal Bank of Scotland building. From here he walked west along Cowgate and turned left onto Kerr Street.

Hung Van Ho has not been seen since. Officers have been working to trace Hung Van Ho and ask anyone who has seen him within the Kirkintilloch or wider Glasgow areas to contact police.

When last seen he was wearing a black leather jacket, black t-shirt with white logo, black jeans, black leather trainers with white soles and was carrying a Lidl shopping bag.

Police are urging people to look out for the 20-year-old and report any sightings to them. (Police Scotland)

He is around 5ft in height, with dark brown/black hair and of slim build. Hung Van Ho speaks Vietnamese and understands English although his spoken English can be limited.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 2605 of Friday, 23 April, 2021.
