Missing Graham Brady: Body recovered from burn in search for Carluke dad

Police have confirmed a body has been found in the search for missing Carluke dad Graham Brady.

A body was recovered by officers from a burn between Carluke and Law, Lanarkshire yesterday morning.

Formal identification has still to take place, however Graham's family have been informed.

Police say enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact cause of death which at this time is not being treating as suspicious.

The 35-year-old was last seen on December 1, sparking a frantic search for his whereabouts.

A statement issued by Lanarkshire Police Division said: "Around 11.35 am on Monday, 25 January, 2020, the body of a man was recovered by officers from a burn between Carluke and Law, Lanarkshire.

"Formal identification has still to take place, however, the family of Graham Brady, who has been missing from the Whitehill area of Carluke since Sunday, 6 December, 2020, have been informed.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact cause of the man's death which at this time, police are not treating as suspicious."
