Missing Glee star Naya Rivera's search resumes as hope fades she'll be found alive

Missing Glee actress Naya Rivera's search has picked up again.

Hope the actress, 33, will be found alive has been beginning to fade just hours after she disappeared in what police have been describing in a "tragic accident".

Daylight has allowed the police to return to the water to hunt for the actress on Thursday morning.

More than 10,000 people signed a petition urging Ventura County cops to pick up the search.

Change.org user Memphis Johnston's petition grabbed the attention of 10,000 in less than an hour when it begun circulating online.

Naya's four-year-old son Josey was discovered all alone on the boat around 4pm following his mum's disappearance.
