Missing girl, 9, found 'safe and well' after vanishing in forest

A nine-year-old was found 'safe and well' after a large search was launched in Wales today.

Daisy Williams disappeared at 6.30pm in Newborough forest, police said.

A coastguard helicopter was dispatched, but officers later confirmed she had been found, the Daily Post reports.

In a statement police said: "Great news, missing person Daisy Williams has been found safe and well!

"Thank you to everyone who assisted with the search, offered to attend and everyones likes and shares on social media."
