Missing girl, 16, has not been seen for five days

Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who has not been seen in five days.

Emily Jones, who speaks with a Liverpool accent, is missing after she was last seen on October 25 in North Yorkshire.

The teenager is known to frequent the Bootle and Widnes areas and she was last seen at 9pm on Sunday evening.

Officers are now appealing for help in tracing the young girl.

A spokeswoman for the police said: "We are appealing for help in tracing a 16 year-old girl who is missing.

"Emily Jones was last seen at 9pm on Sunday 25 th October in North Yorkshire but is known to frequent the Bootle and Widnes areas.

"She is described as white, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with ginger/auburn long hair, pale complexion and blue eyes. She speaks with a Liverpool accent.

"When last seen she was wearing black leggings, black coat with fur hood, and white and gold Guess trainers."

Anyone who has seen Emily or knows of her whereabouts is asked to DM @MerPolCC or contact @missingpeople on 116 000.
