Missing girl, 14, last seen in McDonald's as police become 'increasingly concerned'

Update: Ruby has been found safe and well.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for a missing 14-year-old girl who has not been seen since leaving McDonald's last night.

Ruby Lever was last seen at the fast food branch on Licard Way, in Wallasey, at about 8pm, on Monday, August 24.

The force are asking Ruby, or anyone with any information, to "please get in touch" as she is still missing.

She is described as a white female, around 5ft 2in tall, of slim build with long brown hair with blonde highlights.

When last seen, she was wearing a cream bomber jacket with a fur hood, a black t-shirt, blue denim shorts and black trainers.

Ruby is known to frequent various areas in Wallasey including McDonalds, Central Park, Earlstown cemetery, Egremont Prominade and the Quarry park.

A spokeswoman for the police said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for her whereabouts and would ask Ruby, or anyone with information to please get in touch by contacting @MerPolCC or 101."
