Missing Fife teen Rhya Laidlaw found safe and well

A missing Fife schoolgirl has been traced safe and well.

Rhya Laidlaw was reported missing from the Balmaise area of Leven at around 8am on Friday.

Extensive enquiries were carried out as officers reviewed CCTV footage in attempts to trace the 15-year-old’s whereabouts.

Police Scotland confirmed that she was found on Sunday morning.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are pleased to report that 15-year-old Rhya Laidlaw, missing from Leven, has been traced safe and well. Thank you to all who shared our information.”
