A Falkirk man who sparked a police missing person search has been found safe and well.

Officers appealed for help to trace Matthew Hume after concerns for his welfare were raised on Monday morning.

He was last seen at an address in Dunkeld Place in the early hours of February 17 and was said to have access to a red Renault Clio car.

Police Scotland’s Forth Valley Division have today confirmed that the 50-year-old has now been traced “safe and well”.
