Missing ex-GMP detective found safe and well

A missing former police detective has been found safe and well.

Elizabeth Howe, 43, was last seen over the Christmas and New Year period in Heaton Norris, Stockport, where she had been living.

Her former employers, Greater Manchester Police, had issued an urgent appeal for help tracing her.

However this evening GMP confirmed she had been found safe and well.
